You don't have to be sold on him. Who is a better option at this point? Free agency is over buddy. We signed the best slot cornerback in the game and he went down for the year. Have to make it work with who we have.

honestly his "bad" plays were just incredible plays by their WRs - the over the helmet catch is a prime example
the pick 6 is 'lucky' but he was in excellent position to take advantage of the 'luck'
the forced fumble was just good football

Honestly take away that interception, he had a horrible day. He has been solid in previous game though. And it was Anzalone that caused that fumble that I thought was the turning point of that game. Without that first turnover, who knows what would happen throughout the game. The Vikings were driving and moving the ball very well against us. Probably would of scored a touchdown or at least a field gold. Would of been a tough task trying to come from behind being down so many points against a defense that was playing well against us. Therefore, their fumble was the most important play of that game. Gave us momentum coming out of the half.

but the fumble wasn't like Tucker's missed EP - it was the direct result of a good play from a player who had been victimized the 1st part of the game but didn't retreat into a shell - he showed up and played football

Then I retract my statement. Give Williams his due. He made that first important play.

That out route in the end zone was NOT an easy play. If you look at it, Diggs gave a hard move to the middle, then cut on a dime to the outside. Even with that, PJ's reaction was not slow... it's just that Diggs ran a great route, Cousins made a precise pass, and the foot drag was spot on. It was extremely difficult to defend.

The other plays made, he needed to turn around on the ball to Thielen. Had he done so, it may have been an INT.

This is a tremendous boost for PJ's confidence. Some of you may remember that Delvin Breaux once said (a few years back) that PJ was going to be a very good CB (paraphrase).

I think its funny. PJ looked like crap most of the game and then due to a clear error on the WR its a Defensive Player of the Week honor? Wow! I just lost respect in that award.

Cam will be in Pro Bowl again. No doubt. Cam did the work, PJ got job done. All part of the play. Good Teamwork!
