I agree he does get burned more than you would like but he is good in a pinch.I don’t like PJ at CB. But I love him at FS.

He gets burned when he’s playing slot CB. But he was made to play center field. He’s got a great nose for the ball and he’s a hair faster than Marcus Williams. I think this was our best option at that position.I agree he does get burned more than you would like but he is good in a pinch.
This guy is a Saints lifer. Has he been a superstar? No. Has he made errors at times? Sure. But he's turned into a very solid third round pick for us I feel, and is loyal.
There was a moment last season where this guy got hurt, and I could see the pain in his face when he was not able to return to the game and he was literally crying, and I realized right then and there why they keep this guy around. He's a solid pro, with heart.
I agree I really like PJ always around the ball and he can lay the wood . I was hoping he would have been signed for a two year deal but I am happy to have him on a year by year contract for sure.He gets burned when he’s playing slot CB. Totally agree. He is much better at safety rather then in the slot. Plus is a good tackler. May not have the range as Williams but he will hit you.He gets burned when he’s playing slot CB. I have always loved Mathieu as a player, but I have no doubt he is waiting on the deal he wants, not the team he wants.I don’t think this is related to Mathieu.
What I do think is that Mathieu is waiting for an offer that may be way over what the saints want to spend.
I'm presently watching my recording of Week 18 vs the Falcons, and MJ was making big plays!Love this more than Sorenson, but PJ can’t cover TE’s like Jenkins did for the Saints. I hope DA has an answer for that when the season comes around.
He's a nickel dime corner, I think FS is still a position that will be addressed in the draft. I think the way the defense works and I'm sure PJ can play some over the top coverage but him and CGJ playing closer to the line of scrimmage is what works.I don’t like PJ at CB. But I love him at FS.
Glad he's back. I was getting worried Sorenson was going to see the field.Very happy PJ is coming back, and I too hope Kwon is next.
Kwon is only coming back if there’s absolutely no market for him at all, and he returns to the Saints as Pete Werner’s backup and sub-package LB only… and on a vet minimum deal.Glad he's back. I was getting worried Sorenson was going to see the field.
Bring back Kwon since he's still wearing Saints gear while working out and then actually get WR's.
I think this is close to what will happen. If there was a market for Kwon, he would be gone. He'll be back on a one year deal, just over the vet minimum.Kwon is only coming back if there’s absolutely no market for him at all, and he returns to the Saints as Pete Werner’s backup and sub-package LB only… and on a vet minimum deal.
