6.Coleman

I went with six also and the same six listed here. I think Toon has too much upside potential, Morgan is just too big of a home run threat and Coleman is just flat out too big to cut. I don't think Coleman would make it to the practice squad. I also believe that if Meachem is cut, he will not be signed by another team, especially prior to week 1. He would be a vested veteran with his salary guaranteed if he is on the roster for game 1. You have to figure there is a chance somebody goes down during the year. If so, Meachem would likely be a phone call away.

There will be some VERY tough cuts at WR and Safety this year. I hope that Seantavius Jones makes it to the practice squad. I think he has great potential. If one of the top six go down, I would not be surprised to see him make the squad if the Saints keep six receivers.

What has coleman done to make people want him on the team? From what I've seen game wise Jones is much better than Coleman. This is like the Arrington debate but Coleman hasn't looked good at all so I just don't get it.

I see no way that Coleman beats out Meachem, or any reason that he should. He hasn't earned it.

Offense is SPs baby. I think we go with six.

Colston
Stills
Cooks
Morgan
Meachem
Toon

Anything other than what you picked just seems silly.

And we are already short 1 skill player from last year with sproles gone. We had 5 RBs last year including cadet and sproles

Meachem has turned into the new Henderson, at least for me. Doesn't do anything special, doesn't even do anything that good but he'll still make the team because he's a veteran. Let's just hope Payton recognizes that he's not a deep threat anymore and he doesn't take away snaps from more talented players like Morgan and Stills.

Jones and Coleman seems to be the most interesting spot. Either way I see one making the 53-man roster and the other on the PS.

I like the hometown WR Hawkins but haven't heard much about him lately.

I just don't see the point in having Toon and Morgan wallo in obscurity as 5th and 6th recievers and I don't see the Saints keeping Meachem as a 5th or 6th recievers which to me makes Coleman and the Saints willingness to develop him as the perfect 6th recievers and our top recievers already being Colston, Still and Cooks why would we keep Meachem? Not s nlknock against him but I think when the Saints make these final decisions that plays a factor we are obviously in a youth movement and Graham is a huge part of this offense we so the case for Meachem "experience" goes out the window as he was never a bigger option than 3rd or 4th in our offense which obvious have been taken by Stills and Cooks (Colston and Morgan being the first two options on offense).

I like Jones. 6' 3" and better than Coleman. Don't know if he will make it to PS either.

I think Coleman and Jones have a good shot at PS.
No clue about the practice squad. I was only talking about the six we keep.

We always have WR's out throughout the year.

I went with 8, with one of those going to practice squad.

In a pass happy offense looking to go deep into playoffs, I dont see us carrying less than 7 on the squad again this year...

Colston
Cooks
Stills
Morgan
Meacham
Toon
Jones

Colman - PS
