I think they try to stash Coleman on the PS, with the understanding (like Griffin last year) that they will bring him up the second another team tries to snag him. While they obviously like him, I don't think the FO wants to pin all their hopes for the "Colston" role in the future of this offense on Toon. For that reason, I believe they keep Coleman as well.

You just can't teach 6'6".

Last year, we kept 5 RBs: Sproles, PT, MI, K Rob and Cadet. And if you dont remember what happened to us at RB in 2010, let me assure you, we wont go with only 3 RBs this year...or ever again!

Cadet knows the system and can play RB. But he can also play STs, and thats his bigger value. IMO, he stays.

Yes we did keep 5 but cadet was kept for special teams mainly. He has not proven anything as a running back. And if you remember in 2012 he was kept as a WR/special teams

I think this year we are going to keep one more safety then usual, both because we have a glut of talent there and because we are short on CB depth. So keeping an extra safety so Vacarro can go to CB if needed makes too much sense.

We will keep four RBs. I don't even think that's a question. We may even keep one extra OL then usual because of what's went on with our guards.

So with all that said, I think those thinking we only keep 5 WRs are probably right.

Outside of Cooks do we have any receiver playng on ST's? Almost all of the ST snaps thus far have been Safeties and linebackers. Ball, Warren, Knox, Humber, Davis, Reddick etc are all pushing for Roster spots based on good ST play. I have a hard time believing we keep a 6th receiver who contributes nothing on offense or ST.

Cadet contributing on returns and coverage may be his saving grace, but I wouldn't cut Reddick who was 3rd in ST tackles last year to keep him, however it all depends on who outplays who on ST.

I really want to see Toon contribute this season, but I am not sure he makes the team.

unless they still want to keep developing toon, don't know how long they want to wait, and you cant make a guy tough if he isn't, nor teach him not to be hesitant
