I've been to both multiple times and I much prefer Vegas over Times Square. Of course it really depends on why you would go to either place. Both are pretty good destinations for a weekend of fun. I would not want to live in NYC.Times Square is my least favorite part of NYC by a healthy margin- if it wasn’t for Bway shows I would have never gone there
Plus I would much rather go to weird downtown performances than Bway sho
I’d also rather eat at the back alley places in little India or Chinatown or little Italy than anything in midtown
Spectacle and ‘atmosphere’ is just not my jam
I totally would live in Vegas tho. My wife's sister lives there and we've stayed for several days before and I much prefer the dry heat over humid heat. Plenty of dining options and plenty to do there that won't break the proverbial bank.
Also, if you like weird...there's plenty plenty of that in Vegas, lol.
Agreed on the off the beaten path dining options. I enjoy spectacle and atmosphere. But I also enjoy a lot of other things too.
