Popeye's Chicken Sandwich (3 Viewers)

Actually, I think it's more about trying to appeal to the broadest population. A lot of people don't like much if any seasoning in their batter. So the sauce is the "seasoning" and people can put as much or little as they want on the chicken. I definitely could be wrong though.
if that was the case, then Popeyes wouldn't still be in business with their bad reputation of service.
their seasoning is what keeps people coming back

Sure, there's more than one way to become a nationwide chain.

And while Popeyes is popular in large part because of their seasoning, certainly more than a few customers get the mild chicken rather than spicy.

And I'd absolutely choose Popeyes over Canes, but I still like Canes on occasion.

but even their mild chicken has flavor.. seasoning doesn't always equal spicy.

I just fundamentally do not get the appeal of Las Vegas
That's surprising coming from you. There are a ton of really good shows you can go to in Vegas as well as plenty of other fun attaractions in and near the city. Everyone thinks of Vegas as a gambling mecca, which of course it is, but it's so much more.

I've been to Vegas several times and I've enjoyed it each time. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but for someone who enjoys concerts, theater, fantasy and drama, there's plenty in spades there.

I really want to go to a show in the Sphere. That place looks amazing in videos.

Times Square is my least favorite part of NYC by a healthy margin- if it wasn’t for Bway shows I would have never gone there
Plus I would much rather go to weird downtown performances than Bway sho
I’d also rather eat at the back alley places in little India or Chinatown or little Italy than anything in midtown
Spectacle and ‘atmosphere’ is just not my jam

I'm with you. Luckily Vegas is really easy to pop in and out of if there is a show or something really interesting going on, but I have no need to spend any amount of extended time there.

i don't gamble, and have only been to vegas a few times, but people-watching on Fremont was something else - the buskers and street performers made it worth the while, some incredibly strange and talented people out there
We took our kids (16 and 20) for spring break earlier this year -- didn't do any gambling, but stayed at the Nugget on Fremont and went to the strip to see a few shows. Fremont street was pretty eye opening for the 16 year old!
