Popeye's Chicken Sandwich (1 Viewer)

On the rare occasion I get a McDonald's chicken sandwich, the only one halfway decent is the buttermilk chicken sandwich. The rest is meh. Both Popeyes and CFA are much better.
Their club BLT is awesome. In fact it's the first fried chicken BLT sandwich I ever had and is the reason why I tried others from different places. If I ever went back to McDonald's I'd most likely get it but fork them. They're highly overrated.

Popeyes could learn a ton about good customer service from CFA. I'll take Popeyes for taste, but service and food quality probably go to CFA.

This has zero to do with my sports team or locale. It has to do with being a customer and holding the company to task for a mgmt problem which is holding them back from being more dominant.

If they had mgmt like Raising Cane's to get service and quality issues sorted out, they'd probably put a few CFA locations out of business.
I'm trying to understand this. Wouldn't taste and food quality be the same thing? Maybe there's more to quality besides taste but to me it would be the main idea.

I think they are rated just fine.

I was thinking about all the times I got biscuit hockey pucks, limp soggy fries or the red beans were obviously stretched with water. I've been around long enough to know what a well managed Popeyes can put out as product.

Now I gotta go run some kids off the lawn.

Bad attitudes, wrong orders, wrong price/change, missing items, slow service…it’s all worth it and honestly part of the charm at this point in my life. I fully expect something to go wrong going in and it doesn’t bother me in the least.

Their service still sucks. I went to one a couple of weeks ago after 10 years of not because of poor service and it didn't change. I actually had the girl at the drive through window get mad because since a paid with an ATM card she couldn't ask for the change as a tip. I won't go to PopEyes again

:whitemad:

Never in my 30+ years of going to Popeyes have I ever had anyone suggest I give them my change as a tip.

Seriously, other than long waits, usually b/c I ordered a family box or because spicy was sold out and I had to wait for the next batch to finish up, I’ve found the service at Popeyes to be no better or worse than any other FF establishment.

Seems that some of y’all want the comfortable lie that life makes sense and can be orderly and everything can be functional if you just use enough gumption- and thus you like CFA
I appreciate that Popeyes is honest about our existential plight - life is chaos and navigating that chaos is what makes life exciting
Viva la Popeyes

I once was at the Popeyes in Boutte. The woman in front of me in line asked which of the shrimp combos has the most shrimp. The employee's response? "Whichever one I got the heavy hand on."

I once listened to a woman and the Popeyes cashier go back and forth for about three minutes over whether she was ordering strips or shrimps.

just because you can't see the order, doesn't make it chaos. Now please pull up to the corner and Ill bring the order out when we have something other than mild.
