For me, it’s the history of the anti-LGBTQ / anti-marriage equality stance of the owner. I will not support him in any way. I think that’s as far as I can go without violating board policy and I won’t comment further.

We all have our causes. I won’t shop at stores that don’t allow concealed firearms. I know for some on here that seems stupid but it’s no different.

And that's fine. I would say that maybe individual restaurants and managers have discretion because my daughter's trans friend was hired by and continues to work for CFA. I'm not really a fan of the owners but I still eat at their restaurants.

You wanna know why CFA is better? Consistency. The Popeyes sandwich is superior when done right. But half the time it isn’t. You end up with that rubber section that just feels gross and makes me stop eating.

Never had that at CFA. You just get a solid sandwich made the same way every time.

That's no fault of the sandwich. It's the people that put them together. By your own admission, the Popeye's one tastes better, thus it is better.

You'd be surpised how quickly they get those cars through. I've had many experiences at other fast food places with only a few cars in front me that took longer than CFA.

I was at the drive thru a month ago at CFA. There was at least 15 cars in line. I had my food in my car in less than 10 minutes. If there's one thing they really do well, is getting people in and out the drive thru. I use the app to order, and it's always right and they have my food ready when I get to the window. I've seen drive thru lines with 5 cars and waited twice as long at Popeyes. Their norm is probably more like 10 minutes.

Yeah, it could depend on the store. They were quicker in Lafayette. But here the ones with drive thrus are painfully slow.

That said, the 2 closest Popeyes don't have a drive thru at all. They did curbside for a while but recently stopped doing that, so I have to go in the store to get the food. I can deal, but I'd much rather not go in if I can help it.

I just don't like the CFA food. It grosses me out. Is what it is.
