I don't care how good the food is, it can't be worth waiting in that long bastage of a line they call a drive thru. It's literally longer than a block. I'm not getting in a line with more than 4 cars max.

I know people don't like change, but the apps are golden. if I decide to eat fast food an a whim while driving, I'll pull in the parking lot, order food from the app, and if the drive through looks bad, I'll choose pick up inside option. plus, 99% of the time, the food is cheaper because you can usually get deals through the apps.

Yep, I use the app when I'm on the way out the house and by the time I get there, I can walk right in and get it. I actually don't mind waiting in line. It's not really that much longer, and if it's raining, I don't have to get out of my car.

Same here, I try to limit my fast food trysts but if I'm running errands or something I'll stop by a BK (still like the Whopper) or Wendy's (which I think is the best big FF chain) or if driving distance MD's (I love the original Egg McMuffin).....and I typically pay like half of what it costs through the app deals and rewards....big fan of the apps....

I guess the apps are better now

when they first came out they never worked for me, and that was several different chains, my order wouldn't go through, or wouldn't take payment, or order was always wrong, I'd get a confirmation, but there would be no food when I got there

so I stopped and haven't used a fast food app in years

Yeah, part of the issue is they didn't work on all phones, or even most phones. They're doing a better job making them compatible, although it can still be hit/miss.

I know BK and Popeyes Apps, they start making the order as soon as you submit. McDs doesn't do that, they do not start making it until you check in at the site (gps) and if you do curbside, it takes much longet to get your food. With Popeyes, i can just walk in and the food is usually sitting on a shelf ready to go.

I dunno about Popeyes, the one by me doesnt start your order until you check-in via drive thru or walk-in.

I've resisted the apps. I don't feel like reading the EULA and suspect they are selling data.

I can see insurance companies spending billions so they can cost adjust policies based on eating habits.

It's already bad enough with the DNA testing agencies.
