Or we might find the next Aaron Brooks, or other moderately-successful talent who could just as easily have a Carson Wentz-styled career or a longer-arc, ups-and-downs yet ultimately successful Pro-Bowl career of a Jared Goff.

Or we might get another Cade Mcnown or Heath Shuler. At least Shuler had a far more successful post-football career as a Congressman from North Carolina.

Carr is a top 5 QB this year, playing the most efficient ball of his career. He’ll only improve w/ a 2nd year in the system.

Preaching to the choir…the guy is not our problem despite what uninformed fans with preconceived feelings they feel the need to validate want to believe.

We do need to turn an eye to the future, as Carr is likely going to be in the class of QBs that clunk out at around age 35-36 and you’re not very likely to re-up his deal, but don’t force it to make it happen.

Neither is the best option but it wasn’t available. Couldn’t imagine wasting draft picks on either of those QB’s, especially Beck.

Neither. This isn't the class to draft a QB and especially not those guys. Roll with Carr and continue to build the offense so when Carr is done, the offense is ready to insert whoever we have for his replacement.

Ewers will be a perpetual backup despite his Dr. Pepper commercial. Beck won't make it that far. He doesn't even like to watch football.

I agree with Nick. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing or an insult. Most non-star QBs are of that description. Lord knows there are plenty of QBs that you CAN’T win with.

Carr is simply a guy we need to surround with a high level of talent and a good scheme. He can’t make others around him better, but he can be a great point guard that can dish it when he has guys around him.

I forgot what Saints player said this (Demario maybe?), but he’s basically like a Rajon Rondo.

No. Not hypèrbole. Everything thrown by Ewers over 10 yards was bad.

Almost every pass was 8 yards and under. Has been most of this year.

Elite qbs are scarce, having a good one is lucky.

Carr Is very good. He is having his best year despite limited weapons.

If do.agree Carr isn't going to age well. Hopefully Saints can get 3 more good seasons from him.
