The same people in this thread saying Loomis needs to go will be advocating for the Saints to continue drafting need in the draft instead of drafting the best player available. This is how you end up with a lack of talent on the team. Stop limiting the draft pool. Build talent in the draft, fill holes in free agency.

Not me I've been long time pounding for offensive weapons since Drew Brees. Response has always been draft linemen. Saints have been doing this for 5 years, it's gotten this team no where.

I think many of us are not delusional, we want to see real progress.

The moment Ton Brady retired... The Bucs hit the switch and went to fix their cap and still made the post season.

We dug a deeper hole, and kept ignoring all the red flags between player age and inept head coach. Now, we are looking a probable 7 year playoff drought at minimum.

It should. But it won't. I have been critical of Loomis for years. I nearly always have advocated for drafting the best player for your system. However, we have reached a stage where drafting for need and drafting the best player are practically the same thing because this team has so many needs.

Well two weeks ago it was hard to.make the case to can Loomis. But seeing the bottom end result these two weeks and what will happen next week makes this very much justified.

Or better analogy it's like someone using a lighter, can't yell fire until that person sets something on fire. Until then that person is just flicking a lighter

People with more Salary Cap knowledge than me said it was all okay even though not many other teams appeared to be doing it.
