Rashid Shaheed will undergo knee surgery to determine multiple weeks or rest of the season; Olave Out, Hill Doubtful for TNF game (2 Viewers)

Meniscus tear isn’t a thing you can play through, and certainly not if your role is speed receiver. Knee injuries, broken ribs, concussion, these sort of things anyone can get. But the strains and such comes back to soft tissue care, something this team has consistently been failing at for years now. One bad season, ok but this has been ridiculous.

As far as other injuries, is attention being paid to self care, getting down and saving yourself, going out of bounds, those sorts of things where when the play is effectively over, get down and save yourself for the next play, or are players not being coached this way?

I'm sorry but that is RIDICULOUS utterly RIDICULOUS That's like saying typing one handed should not effect your words per minute
i was making fun of the phrase, not supporting it. Injuries are very much the reason the team fell apart so quickly.
Every team has injuries, but not many teams have lost nearly the whole starting roster this early and certainly no teams that are doing well.

Hard to imagine any team, no matter whom they are playing winning without starting quarterback, 1st and 2nd Wide receiver, all 3 interior offensive linemen plus numerous other injuries
Not seen anything like this since the COVID game

Because the current staff lacks the leadership to make any type of move.

I might be wrong because I know they were discussing changing the setup and I didn’t follow it too closely but I think there is or was a limit to how many guys u can IR with the designation to return. I know they were trying to remove the limit and anyone could go IR for four weeks and come back.
If they do things like schedule 3 games in 10 days then they should remove the limit, if they haven't done so.
It's just a mess at this point and I can't help but think the list will just keep growing.

Yep. Only way we win is if we play mistake free football and win a 13-9 type slugfest IMO.

When’s that first round DE we picked coming back?

Yep they should remove the limit which according to what I read up on says you can IR a total of 8 players in a given year can go on and come back and each player is only allowed to use the designation no more than 2x in a given year.

So now I understand why you don’t just send everyone to IR if they gonna be 4 weeks or more.
