This guy just proves that he is elite
1.) did you see his sliding ability and how he turned his body mid slide
2.) he cannot control players not catching the ball
3.) he cannot control poor snaps
4.) he has incredible poise And arm strength

If he had an offensive line and wr this guy had an o line and wr he would already be a top 10 qb. Haener’a throws look weak , like drew brees with broken shoulder , rattler flicks his wrist and the ball zips 20 yards

Elite? Guess we need to put him the conversation of Burrows, Mahomes, Allen and other playoff quarterbacks. Guess playing 4 quarters of preseason football so far in his career with 1 rushing td qualify him to be elite. I guess my criteria for being "elite" is really off.

I think this game proved he isn't elite today. He has skills, but he actually looked poor in the pocket, and made some questionable decisions. He had an easy 8 yard completion on one sack yet he tried to bail and stepped into a sack. He also didn't need to bail on the long pass to the TE, which he threw over the wrong shoulder, and it was really not a catchable ball despite what the announcers said. It would've taken an amazing catch. Haener also wasn't perfect, but he looked better in this game. It is true that Rattler has a stronger arm, but that is only one element of a good QB. While not as strong as Rattler's, Haener has plenty of power on his passes, but they are both backups at the moment, with starter traits.

All jokes aside, he wasn’t that bad yesterday. The line and the receivers did him zero favors.

He didn’t look comfortable like he did last week, but he did some good things. He has, i will say it, ELITE arm strength. The sideline throws are not as easy as they look and he puts them on the money. He just needs some seasoning. All of these bipolar reactions on the board are getting out of hand. Patience.

Rattler and Haener both should be battling for the number 3 spot with the loser of the battle on P.S. Nothing about rattler is even close to elite.
How can you say that after two preseason games where he has played with receivers and linemen that will never start in the NFL? You can’t get an idea of what a QB can do unless theyre playing with the 1s and competing against the 1s. Give Rattler Olave and the first string o line instead of Perry and a center that can’t even snap the ball and it’d probably be a lot different.

He has a history of fumbling. Let's not get carried away.

I think Rattler should consider hiring you as either his publicist or hype man! :)

Rattler and Haener are solid additions to the QB room with Carr.

I think Rattler is the better of the two because of his physical abilities (arm talent) but I think both Rattler and Haener have the same cerebral mindset to play the QB position and it shows, Rattler just has the edge on arm talent.

He missed a couple throws low, and there were timing issues. The sack fumble was pretty bad. If you go back and watch the pocket wasn't collapsing and he ran right into the D tackle that was just starting to shed his block. He didn't look good but didn't look bad, of course the arm talent is incredible, but there are many qb's that have failed in this league with great arm talent. Top 10 qb? easy there lol.
