I didn't see an issue with it, you could literally step right outside of a town and be in "the wild" where you could set up camp and save the game.
Isn't sleeping or doing other stuff "waiting"? Maybe I don't know what you mean about a "wait feature."
By the way, the only Fallout game I've played is Fallout 3: NV and I hated it. I found that the side missions AND the main story line of the game to be boring. I mean even more boring than the last few missions in RDR.
Its all opinion. i think fallout 3 was an all time great game but fallout NV wasn't (it was very good but not an all time great) and since you said fallout 3 NV i have no clue which one you mean lol. sounds like you didn't play any and just used it as an example cause i did. anyway you can press select and pick how many hours you want to wait and it advances the game world by that many hours. RDR needed that feature. thats what i mean by wait.
still its not save anywhere, so please drop it. it might have alot of options to save but its not everywhere
