Ok so let me preface what I’m gonna say with, I don’t watch much TV other than sports which most of the time are on the cable channels I have or my ESPN watch app. I’m not tech savvy at all. I have seen a lot of people say, in different forums, they are happy about the pelicans getting away from Ballys. It may be a good thing, I don’t really know. I live in Slidell, La. and in years past, I would turn my TV to channel 36 and the pelicans game would be on, no issues. Is that not how this new channel works? Is the channel not carried by spectrum? I can’t seem to get a good answer from friends I’ve asked. Some mention having to have an antenna, some say NBA app and some say get pelicans plus. If that’s the case, My question is, who is this easier/better for and why is it better? Not saying it isn’t, just need to know why. Thanks!
This is better for those who don't have cable. Cox subscribers like me don't need an antenna (which I was just thrilled to discover) - but I'm pretty certain GSEN isn't on Spectrum, so yes you will need an antenna to watch. That means it's not better for you. (Antennas are cheap, but it's annoying to have to switch inputs and not be able to DVR etc).
Others will hopefully correct me if I'm wrong.
