ROB RYAN was the RAIDERS, BROWNS and COWBOYS DC and while he was there, these teams have never made it to the playoffs ...... I really hope GIL BRANDT and JAY GLAZER are wrong ..... My first choice was JIM TOMSULA from the 9ers but at this point, its anyone but this guy ...... please SEAN .... dont do this ...

yea coaching for 3 crappy franchises that are never going to win anything is definitely a sign that he is not a good coach

This right here, guys. How good can you expect a defense to be when you keep giving the ball back to the other team?

If we had a defense last year that would have just ranked 25th or so, allowing one less scoring drive per game, we are in the playoffs. And that was LAST year. Think about how a 20th ranked D will be THIS year, with Coach Payton back.

The Jets had the 30th ranked offense in the league last year and an even worse turnover differential than the cowboys and still finished 8th in total D last year. Eleven spots higher than Ryan in Dallas with the league's 6th ranked offense.

Arizona had a better D too with the league's worst offense. Pittsburgh's offense was ranked 21st and had the top defense in the NFL.

Things are looking up Saints fans; we are going to a 3-4 which is going to help us better defend and we can mix it up with 4-3; our guys will gel much better with Ryan. We will improve significantly. Wish Ryan would cut his hair, drop 50 lbs, and cut out the braggadocio, but those are all superficial and have nothing to do with his ability. He can coach.
