Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta is interested in buying the Saints (10 Viewers)

Ooohh, I like fertittas much better than omelets.

Anyone else think the reason why he announced this is because the Canes owner Todd Graves wants to buy the Saints one day?

Just for kicks, I asked Google Gemini which city is most likely to get the next NFL franchise...assuming it would be San Antonio, St. Louis and OK city.

It replied Jackson, MS, Waco, Shreveport and Little Rock. Try it for yourself.

I think AI's day is not here yet. Anyway, hopefully Gayle asks for an ironclad commitment to stay here.
AI just told me a couple weeks ago that Phoenix is east of the Mississippi River. I wasn't even aware they had moved Arizona.

Huh? You don’t think the Commander’s market encompasses Va and Md? Heck, DC isn’t even a state…
Oh, yeah, and most Ravens fans I know are from south central Pennsylvania so that's a two-state team as well.

This is a big fat lie. There was a huge crowd in New York this past week at the game when I was there. I was also in Mt. Pleasant Michigan a few weeks ago and saw a dude walking around with a Saints hat on and I stopped and spoke to him. WE ARE EVERYWHERE.
Valid point. I've spoken before that I've been "who dat'd" in many different places.

So are you cutting out the Eagles or the Steelers from that equation?

Well, I think most --- certainly not all but most --- Steelers or Eagles fans I know are in state. But that did get me to thinking how we are talking about how a single team is multistate but not discussing the states -- or areas -- that are multi-teamed. Of course, Texas and Florida and California have multiple NFL teams. But the Del-Mar-Va peninsula has, let's see, Eagles, Commanders, Ravens and even the New Jersey stadiums within a reasonable Sunday drive to attend games in person. That area is a real melting pot.

Umm..Ever heard of New England?
I asked AI to tell me where New England was and I was disappointed. It told me the correct answer. I really wanted it to tell me that it was in the United Kingdom.

Yeah but Graves still is big in LSU NIL money and is a big LSU fan. He went to LSU and I think he is from the Baton Rouge area so he's about as local a billionaire as we have outside of Gayle Benson. And as someone mentioned, Canes is the official Chicken of the Saints so he still has his hand in LA and with the Saints.

Honestly, I found out a few months ago how much Graves is worth and I was shocked. I remember when he opened the first Canes outside the North Gates of LSU. I had no idea chicken fingers could make you that wealthy.
Or that chickens HAVE fingers.
