Ross Jackson’s biggest takeaways from Loomis, Moore and Ireland at the combine (12 Viewers)

Arch probably won't be in the draft until 2027 or later. Most of the Mannings finish school before entering the draft and they will want to get him as many college snaps as possible. Beyond that, I think he will be very good, but you just never know how good a QB is going to be until they start consistently starting games. Hard to work your QB strategy based on a freshman QB that might not be in the draft for 3 more years.
Not most but all of the Mannings used every yr of eligibility. $ is not an issue. The only way I could see him coming out early is if he's already graduated and TX won like back to back NC's and the team with the 1st pick is one he wants to go with. Highly unlikely

People say this, but we also have to keep in mind that it was much more normal to stay all four years when Archie played, and also, Peyton and Eli are Archie’s boys, and they both strike me as the “Aw shucks, gotta listen to dad” types…Arch possibly isn’t getting that same pressure from Coop and may not be as inclined to do what Uncle Archie tells him to do.

He may very well stay, but I just wanted to point out that some different dynamics are at play here.
Yeah but even though Peyton and Eli were not strapped for $ they could have made $$$ coming out early. Not even close these days with NIL. Gramps and the Unks will not let Arch be the 1st Manning to ditch college early

Also when Archie played you didn;t have choice you played 4 yrs

Not sure Moore would override Mickey when it comes to financial decisions, at least not yet.

Maybe not override, but I'm sure he was given a say in the decision and his input was considered and given a lot of weight. And who knows, maybe Loomis wanted to cut Carr and Moore wanted to keep him. We really do not know.

At any rate, maybe Moore was in favor of keeping Carr. I could certainly see a young HC wanting to keep the best QB he has. Carr is mediocre, but right now he's by far the best QB on the team. Beyond that, keeping Carr was the only way they were going to have money to fill a few holes in free agency.

I was in favor of cutting Carr and rolling the dice with Rattler, but I could see how a new HC would want to be able to fill some holes on his roster and that meant keeping Carr.
