Ryan Clark Calls Sean Payton a Thug (1 Viewer)

I was reading a lot of comments from different sites yesterday and I can see this turning out really bad for sean. Vets wont be happy with what he's done and there's a lot of different racial accusations being thrown about also. I can see him ending up in a position where free agents do not want to play for him.

I think at some point.. Sean Payton broke.. then Sean Payton developed an ego... and that ego drives him that in his mind he KNOWS what he wants to make a team thats Superbowl ready.. but he just wants someone to give him everything that he wants.

Example when we had Tom Benson.. he probably said.. hey you get whatever you want and we will make it happen.

somewhere we went from that model to the model of "Money Ball" where we played the numbers.

example.. we couldve had Suh and likely collected that 2nd superbowl.. that Rams team doesnt make it past the Saints without Suh.. and we likely win it all with Suh.
but..... we crunched the numbers and said.. this is what we are going to pay you...

well that model is dead.. and we still think its the model that our organization thrives on.. we picked the wrong head coach and we aren't big dogs in the league anymore..

and the organization just cant accept that our best years are behind us until we can create something new... we arent going anywhere..

we gotta get rid of that model..

Sean Payton is a victim of his own success in which he wont accept his way is the only way the team should go.

Denver fans wanted to run Russ out of town last season and Sean is now laying the ground work to do just that. I don’t necessarily agree with how he’s doing it, but I don’t think the fans care much about what their players that have gotten used to being losers think about it. Sean will make winners out of players or get rid of the ones who resist. Either way, there is no doubt who is boss in that locker room.

If he was still in NOLA, he would be able to do anything because he’s earned it here.
But to Broncos fans, he’s not “Sean Payton.” He’s a highly paid coach that’s underperforming.

This isn't some revelation... Sean's biggest strength and - simultaneously his biggest weakness.... Is the fact that he's a big dawg, smarter than you, enormous apple bag, my way or the wrong way.... suck it everyone... THUG.... It's why you love him and hate him... It's why he's great and annoying.... It's why he can win it all and lose it all....

Anyone that's just finding this out... has lived under an NFL rock for nearly 2 decades.

If he could have anything we wouldve paid for Suh.

Sean Payton probably broke during the 2012 suspension season.

This is such a non-story being overblown.

This is Payton being smart. He didn't waive the clause, now he gets benched because they were moving on from him anyway.

That's why certain people are upset

How is he underperforming? In his first year he has already matched the amount of wins the Broncos have had in 6 years. If he wins out against the Chargers and Raiders they'll likely be second in the division.
