It has been over a year that I have been on here but PJ was a good friend of mine. He was the nicest guy you could ever meet. A year plus later and it still doesn't seem real. I know his family appreciates all of the condolences. With that said WHO DAT!!! He would be pumped up for this up coming season.

it's a great bump, I'm sure it's helping his friend cope with the loss of a good friend even a year later. I'm sure one of their major bonds was the Saints and SaintsReport

A specific St. PJ memory I have....

He "called it" regarding Julius Thomas of the Broncos in one of his write-ups shortly before the 2013 season. I wish I'd listened to him and took a flyer on Julius in my fantasy draft, because Julius scored 2 TDs and had 110 receiving yards in that Thursday night kickoff game against the Ravens.......and pretty much became a household name that season.

Most here are kind, decent, and pretty cool.

But there are a handful who should be a bit more courteous in their responses to others.

My dad always said:

I'm not seeing how the post that bumped the thread is cryptic. It's a good friend of his who still finds it hard to believe he's gone. I feel that same sentiment any time we lose someone here. And we've lost a few over the years.
