Saints and Carr deal released $150M over 4 years $100M fully guaranteed (2 Viewers)

Last year Brady was at least in the division. So going from 7-10 to 8-9 after spending what Im assuming is well over 100 million on a veteran QB? No, I would say its not enough unless that 8-9 wins the division. They wont fire him if he wins the division even with a losing record.
I hope you are right. It´s clear the team is betting on maximizing this roster's potential. I agree that they won´t have many excuses in the coming season for underperformance, except for injury issues. That´s the price for getting this "vote of confidence" from the FO.

I hope the Saints don't over pay since Carr has never won a playoff game.

Was coming to ask if we should be concerned because all of the tweets on page 1 have been deleted, but I see the link from @Bill.

I hope people aren’t going to flood threads with comments like this. You don’t realise how bad you have to be to draft number 1. This team isn’t close to bad enough. We just won 7 games with a load of injuries and Andy Dalton.

We’re closer to 10+ wins than 3 wins which is why this is a great move.
Cut him some slack. He lost his motivation in 2012

I'm now wondering how this will affect the Saints' draft strategy. After seeing the combine this weekend, I have to say I'm far less impressed with anyone after the top 4 QBs (all of which will be gone before the Saints are on the board) so I'm happier over all that Carr is now a Saint. Hooker is still the big unknown but I think most of the other players (and maybe Hooker as well) will be day 3 picks. Right now I could still see the Saints grabbing a QB but it would be someone like O'Connel or DTR as a late pick. Now the team can concentrate more on the OG, DT, Edge, and WR. I have a feeling they can get a quality player at 29 and contributors on day 2.

Before Winston got injured PC was calling alot of deep passes and a very aggressive offense. He backed off on that with an injured Jameis and a limited Dalton.

Lets hope he goes back to that aggressive offense with Carr who is a damn good QB and alot better than half the people in sports give him credit for.
He was calling them with Dalton until that Cardinals game.. remember how we started that game? It's like he went into shell after Dalton threw those 2 pick sixes to end the half.

Pete really got conservative after that game.
