OBJ is trying to revive his career. He needs strong QB and a solid group of receivers around him so opposing D’s just don’t focus solely on him. Every team on this list makes more sense than the Saints. Add to the fact that the Saints have roughly $8.73 in cap space to sign him……..

He probably won’t get the receiving numbers needed for a big contract in the offseason by playing with the WR1-WR2 tandems that’s already in Packers’ and Seahawks’ offenses though

As much as I would like OBJ I have to believe he's going to the Packers. After Adams they have no true 2nd receiver OBJ would slot right in with Adams taking most of the double coverage.

We currently have no real QB or WRS. If he's on our team the defenses will lock in on him making it even tougher than he had it on the Browns.

Only reason he comes here is because its his hometown.

Seems to me, if he thinks he is an all world receiver and wants balls thrown his way, the Saints is the team to sign with. The Saints need a NUMBER ONE RECEIVER. WHERE YOU AT OBJ??? YOU NEED TO SLEEP ON THAT??????

Not in 2019. He had Drew for some of the year and no Sanders and we targeted him nonstop.

Well we could probably only offer marginally better than than unless he would take a back loaded, one and a half year contract to get him fair financial compensation.


But I would be ecstatic if OBJ tweets out those six letters ...

We can't offer much better and if the choice is between us and GB he's going with the immunized one. The teams that can afford him don't have an established QB and the teams that are contenders are either stacked the position (Arizona, La.) or not that interested (Seattle, KC, Baltimore)

That's what I'm thinking. Sounds like Payton is offering him the choice of a one year or a multi year contract.
