I’m to the point that I would trade our Denver pick and first round pick to move up for JD or Washington’s QB.

Or a fullbackI’m on the Jayden / Pennix train too. At this point I think we are going to have a shot at one. I just have no confidence that this FO won’t double down on dumb and bring back DA and Carr and take a lineman instead.
I stared at this for 15 seconds before I realized you weren't talking about Sam Howell.I’m to the point that I would trade our Denver pick and first round pick to move up for JD or Washington’s QB.
I agree but only if we get a new offensive minded coach. I dont trust any of the apples of our current FO’s eyes anymore, nor do I trust this staff to coach up a rookie QBDefinitely in QB territory. Also in “Make aggressive move up if you identify your must have guy” territory.
Don’t Patrick Mahomes this thing again.
If there is an apple of your eye at that position, GO GET HIM.
Right, this staff would need to be fired and a new staff in for them to make that move. Carr played well as did the rest of the team when Detroit was up 21-0 and took their foot off the pedal. The staff will hang its hat on its ability to come close to coming back in a game where the other team relaxed. Sean Payton teams were known to score a TD on their opening drive and set the energy pace immediately. Until we’re able to dictate the pace, we‘re just a team with excuses. And it’s the coach that prepares the team to play, and 21-0 first quarter, shows he’s not getting it done.I’m on the Jayden / Pennix train too.
