TAMPA, Fla. — The New Orleans Saints avoided a disaster on Sunday (Dec. 9).

After trailing 14-3 at halftime, the Saints dominated in the second half to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 28-14, at Raymond James Stadium.

With the win, the Saints clinched the 2018 NFC South title, winning the division for the second year in a row.

What went right: After Taysom Hill blocked a punt midway through the third quarter, the Saints offense finally came to life. To that point, the Saints had just 5 yards rushing on 11 carries, but Mark Ingram ran for 11 yards on the next play.

It took the Saints just five plays after the punt block to score their first touchdown of the game, and they drove to a go-ahead touchdown on their next drive, too. ...
