Saints @ Denver (1 Viewer)

We have a group of 10 staying at the Hotel Monaco on 17th St downtown. We are looking for a place to watch the LSU/Auburn game on Sat night. Anyone else interested in watching the game? Any suggestions?

So are me and my brother, at the Monaco. The ESPN Zone is 4 blocks from the hotel, they better open at 10:00am local time so I can watch Miss St and Ga Tech..............

We will probably be headed over to ESPN to watch the Georgia / ASU game.

6 for tail gate party

Put us down for six for sure for tailgate party. Will bring something. Unsure what yet. do we have a specific need.

Denver Schedule

I'm staying in the Curtis with a bronco fan...

Sorry so late to join the party... Just to recap some plans I know of...

Friday

6pm - Diamondbacks vs Rockies Game

Saturday

10am - College Football at ESPN Zone

5:45pm - LSU vs Auburn at ESPN Zone

6pm - Diamondbacks vs Rockies Game

7pm - Buckhorn Exchange Steak House (Reservations closed?)

10pm - Late Night Options (Market Street between 19th and 21st offers a LARGE number of sports bars, neighborhood hang-outs and dance clubs for the college crowd and young professionals. Sing-Sing is a fun dueling piano bar. Great comedy club called Comedy Works (corner of Larimer and 15th). 16th Street Mall downtown is always full of activity, anything from cool street performers, restaurants, bars, bowling, Coyote Ugly, Jazz at Jack's, Hard Rock Café, etc.)

Sunday

10am - Tailgating in Lot B (thanks RockyMtnSaint)

2pm - Game Time

6:15pm - Dallas vs GB Night Game at ESPN Zone (or another sports bar)

People are staying in the following hotels:
Hotel Monaco (1717 Champa St (303) 296-1717)
The Curtis (1405 Curtis Street (303) 571-0300)
FYI - 7 minute walk from Hotel Monaco to The Curtis

If anyone wants to switch cell numbers, PM me and we can meet up. I arrive at 10am on Saturday and I plan on dropping my stuff off at the Curtis and watching college football at ESPN Zone.

Reservations at the buchhorn are on,Just be there by 7PM reservations under the name of steve guy.

I'm also a late comer to the show and as a heads-up Denver is doing its version of an Oktoberfest a block from Coors field all weekend. Easy walking distance from the 16th street mall. There's also Bayou Bob's 16th and Glenarm. Not bad Nola food for being a Mile High. See you at the show.

If you want a taste of home in Denver, on Saturday or Sunday morning go to Lucille's. I think it is great, and it wins best cajun in the city every year. They do a weekend brunch that is to die for.

I broke my own rule and I am sitting in the south stands, with my dad and pregnant wife. She is so exited, she became a Saints fan when she met me, and has a crush on Drew. She will be rocking her new Authentic #9 jersey for the first time on Sunday. Hopefully, it will be her lucky jersey!

can't wait to see you all here!

I just booked a room at the westin tabor in denver. I'll be there sat night and sun night. is anyone else staying there? I'll be at the pepsi center for alittle b4 10 to get a good spot just look for a red jeep cherokee with a bud light saints poster hanging. I'll be in a throwback brees jersey setting up for tailgating. If someone has an extra propane bottle would you be able to bring it. I have one bottle that is alittle more than half full not sure if we my need more than that, but would hate to run out during cooking. Can't wait to get together with all you fellow saints fans for the game. GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm out, going to the airport right now.

At the ESPN Zone saturday, if I feel it is warranted when I wake up, I'll be the only clown wear Mississippi State gear at the tavern that morning..........

Let me know how that hotel is. I booked it for a couple of nights next month for the Great American Beer Festival. Looks nice but spendy.

I should have some propane for you.
