The #Saints have made plenty of calls about making a big leap up from pick No. 27, I’m told. Could be due diligence in case a certain player (perhaps a QB) falls. But they will be well-prepared to move tonight if it comes down to it.

Interesting but I hope if we move up it’s for an edge rusher, TE or WR

If we don't want a QB why could we be targeting? I don't trust anything Rap says though.

It’s only for a QB. No other reason. I want Roquan, but I doubt we’d trade up for him. Standing pat could net Rahsaan Evans. Who isn’t as good, but very good. Unless it’s Quenton Nelson, in which case I’d be in awe.

Rapoport as always is UNINFORMED. Loomis just went over this for crying out loud, every year they explore trades of moving up and down with teams prior to draft, this year being 15-20 spots in front pick and 15 or so behind in a trade down to explore all scenarios and see where value is or if its realistic to move up for a guy they like. Is a trade up possible? No doubt. But Saints are doing what they always do and this is just due diligence. Rapoport buy a clue

We should not do anything that gives up a 1st next year IMO

You can trust Ian on this one. As I mentioned in the other thread, Saints have contacted teams in the 6-10 range. Started couple days ago.
