Everyone chill. Like a good FO, they're making contingency plans to have on-hand. I can guarantee that they've also been making just as many calls about moving down and grabbing some extra picks, but that headline isn't as sexy.

Be prepared for everything, and then nothing will be a surprise.

If we traded up for Rosen I would e happy with that. He will be the best quarterback to come out of this draft. He was already a top prospect with mediocre coaching at UCLA, here with Sean he would be unstoppable.

What would that cost? 1,3 this year? 1,2,3 next year?

To get to #8 under the traditional chart it’ll cost a 1 and 6 this year and 1 and a 3 next year, with the assumption that next year’s picks are the last in each round. Bears’ pick is worth 1400 points and the trade would yield 1401.1 points. Dead even trade.

We keep saying that the only reason you make that leap would be for a QB, and I get that. But it just might be Chubb we're targeting.

Maybe your right but his concussions scare the crap out of me, could see Rosen retiring in a couple years just as much as I can see him tearing the league up.....

I'm sure the Saints want to trade up. However, I think there's more risk this year than most, especially on the defensive side. Not as many "sure thing" players as usual. Drafting 27th sure does suck.

The Chiefs moved from 27 to 10 last year and it cost them a 1 and 3 last year...and a 1 this year. It's going to cost more than that and I'm thinking you have to trade into the top 6.
