This is poverty level thinking.

The effect that Olave will have on CGM and Kamara is worth the trade. Not getting one of the top receivers would have been worse.

Take the 3 and 4. We complained all year last year about lack of wide receivers. They were aggressive getting the 1 they wanted. We needed a WR, and we got one. On to 19.

He wasn't making it to 19. Or 16 for that matter. Saints felt that subtracting 2 picks was worth picking from the top tier instead of the next tier down.

Unnecessary. Good chance he would’ve lasted to #16. And if not, there were other great WR options of comparable skill.

Detroit jumped 20 picks to get Williams immediately after and Philly jumped 2 with what appeared to be another move to get Williams until Detroit swiped him. WRs were running and it’s always best to go get your guy.. The compensation was not that much.
