Article Saints, Eagles expected to be two of the most aggressive teams at the trade deadline (1 Viewer)

We will not make the SB without Mark IMO.

We won the super bowl with Mike Bell at RB. Mark Ingram isn’t bigger than this team. We already have shown in the first 4 games that we can win without him. Alvin Kamara needs as many touches as possible and he didn’t get hardly any last game cause of Ingram. We got someone that has shown that he can easily fulfill Ingram’s touches in Taysom Hill. Ingram will only take away from Hill’s production going forward.

ain't nobody got anytime for this dude. The point of us trading to get some players before the trade deadline is to get better, not worse. Trading Ingram would not make us better. Nuff said.

If we improve a starting position by losing a backup, how can we get worse? Ronald Darby is better than Ken Crawley IMO. Alvin Kamara should be our starter and get more touches than Ingram. Dallas Goedert would give us another big target/weapon in the passing game and improve that position big time IMO. Darren Sproles would come back and fill in his previous role, but just not as effective as before. If healthy, he could still give us a lot as our primary backup RB for a year and retire a Saint. He could possibly improve our punt return game as well.

If you want to make that comparison, it'd be to Pierre Thomas. That's who Ingram is for us today. #1B RB who can do everything. Comparing him to the 3rd string Mike Bell is not accurate.

Not comparing the two really. I was replying to someone that said if we trade Ingram we won’t win a super bowl. We already shown we can win one without a back like Ingram

WE HAD A BACK LIKE INGRAM lol...his name was Pierre Thomas.

Really? Pierre Thomas never rushed for over 800 yards and only has 3,809 career rushing yards in 9 years compared to Ingram’s 5,409 in 8 years. They not the same type of back by a mile IMO.

They are exactly the same kind of back. You are trying to say that Ingram's value is akin to Mike Bell. It's not. It's way, way more and equal or better than Pierre Thomas.

You are the only person on the board who thinks we would be fine without Ingram. Maybe there's a reason for that.

No they are not the same kind of back. I’m saying we can win a super bowl without Mark Ingram cause we have done it before. PT is not Ingram. We just went 3-1 without him. I think we would be better off with a staring corner than Ingram and that last play before the half by Baltimore shows that big time IMO!!!

I’m the only person on this board that thinks Alvin Kamara can be the man by himself like Marshall Faulk. He just needs a decent backup to complement him
