Saints fans unite - don’t watch the NFL playoffs on Peacock (1 Viewer)

I didn’t watch but to be fair I am not their market. If it’s not the Saints I rarely tune in now. I went from sitting 12 hours on Sundays to just Saints games. No more pregames and after shows. Was quite the addiction.
I’ve been sucked back in thanks to being able to throw a few bucks at games and props so easily.

I think this is apples and oranges. Nobody had to pay extra money to get ESPN now to be honest, some cable companies included ESPN as a special premium premium package. However, nobody had to pay extra just for ESPN that I am aware of.
I don't have cable, just an HD antenna to pick up local OTA networks. Getting ESPN would cost way more than Peacock.

This is a good point. That is why I ended with, “that I am aware of.” I forgot about the fact that there are people who choose not to use cable at all.

Before there was cable, there was over the air radio signals. If you were lucky, you could watch all four broadcasting companies: ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS.

My cable company was charging me $280 a month. Of course the cable company was providing me my ISP.. I grew tired of the high cost, and I went with YouTube TV streaming.

This reeks of “Support the buggy whip manufacturers against these new fangled automobiles.” Streaming is better than cable and more than 50 percent of the population gets their tv content through streaming now. This isn’t a big deal. You can probably sign up for one week free and then cancel.
Hmmmm, this is not the point. This is not why I am upset. I am not upset over the existence of streaming in the fact that people can go streaming.

I am upset over using a dirty tactic to increase viewership. The tactic is to say the least dishonorable.

I see a lot of people complaining about the streaming quality of the KC game. Anyone else have a problem?

NBC paid $110,000,000.00 for that one game.

Did they get 18,333,334 more subscribers?

I second youtube tv

We really like it a month in after cutting cox

Now they are bragging about how many people streamed the game yesterday. We all know where this is headed.

I have Xfinity cable and get Peacock free with it. That's why I had no issue watching it.
