I don't know why people or reporters are expecting any specific answers regarding moves or roster changes on his first day. He doesn't even know the janitor names yet. It is expected his answers are going to be as generic as possible. Who knows what decisions he has with Carr.

Word crutches like uh, umm, look, and so on are the sign of two things. First, it indicates that the person speaking knows what they want they want to say and are pausing to finalize exactly how they will say it.

Second, it indicates the person doesn't have a lot of constant practice at public speaking. Our natural tendency is to fill the pause, while we're working out exactly how to say what we're thinking, with some kind of verbalization. It takes lots of constant public speaking practice to learn to just be silent while thinking of how we are going to say what we are thinking.
