I'm going to wait for the official announcement but it's looking really good right now!!!!
I love that he is only 36, if we hit on him then at least there is a chance he is here a good while....(oops judging by the post above it is official).....
This has been a done deal for weeks. The Saints are just respecting the rules but I can assure you, Moore had basically signed before the Saints left Philly.
Pretty sure you called Brady to green with a high failure rate in another post.BUT WHAT IF Moore does not take the Job.
Young coach, will be given a grace period to build and bring this team out of the previous two regimes cycle of players and contracts, this will be Kellen Moore and the New Orleans Saints just like it was Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints. Not sure how any Saints fan can't be excited about this. While Moore has a ton of work to do, it's hard to not compare this to the Payton hire back in 06. Clearly Moore does not have a QB of the caliber of Brees on the roster and hopefully finding long term future at QB is a top priority. Either way I am super excited for the offseason. Going to be fun to see that staff and roster being built out over the next few months.
I dont think it’s fair for us to compare him to Payton, however now that he is officially our Head Coach we should allow him to room to see if he can grow into a career like that. Not sure how any Saints fan can't be excited about this.
