Has there been a time when they played at the same time?
I think it's long past time for the Saints and Tigers to settle this long running in-state rivalry on the field in a head to head game.

The added benefit is that for that one game, everybody can watch both of them at the same time and give themselves a few extra hours in the weekend to do something else. It's a win-win-win scenario.

Grew up in NOLA as primarily, almost exclusively a Saints fan.. actually my first sports love was an NBA team called the New Orleans Jazz, but they promptly broke my heart at 4 years old and set me up for a lifetime of the same … after the Jazz left i was all Saints, all the time- even when we were 1-15…. Wes Chandler getting traded, then Archie getting traded- were also huge bummers for me …. I was also kind of a (gasp) Tulane fan since went to their games at the Dome too.. then at some point during childhood became an LSU fan.. but still i was 99% Saints.. THEN i attended LSU when we were a basketball school with Shaq…. gradually over the years I became probably 60% Saints football and 40% LSU football…. THEN i dated and eventually married a woman who’s family had a box suite at Tiger Stadium and we would commute from out of state every weekend LSU had a home game- and LSU won national titles in that same timeframe , which didnt hurt… so in the last 17 or 18 years my fanhood is exactly 50% Saints, and 50% LSU.. i still have my Saints season tix (though I’ll probably let them go next month)- but i always say that the NFL is a better product on television, while there’s nothing that can compare to an SEC college game live and in-person .. so I guess my short answer would be : BOTH .

The Bo Davis thread got me thinking. Personally I’ve always felt like this board was a majority of Saints only fans with the smaller minority rooting for both the Saints and LSU football teams. Personally, I feel like a lot of NFL fans don’t transition to college football. Basically, I’ve watched college football more for entertainment and knowing who’s coming via the draft. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m curious to see. I pay attention to what LSU is doing primarily because I listen to 104.5 primary when I’m driving but lose or win LSU isn’t on my radar.
I love college football, but I am not an lsu fan. I like Tulane, but lsu just annoys me.
