Don't think he's any more of a cancer than he was in his prime. He's just no longer worth putting up with because his play doesn't match his mouth.

Still same passionate guy he was before. He'll be missed.

Maybe, maybe not. However, it becomes way more noticeable when players are injured and spend more time on twitter!

To the Saints credit, he was given every opportunity to excel in the organization. Best of luck to him on his next endeavors . If an when he signs with another team, I'm sure he will continue his media antics and will thrash the Saints organization in the process. Unfortunately, I don't think we've heard the last of MT.

to go from that to anything else where he was the star that got everything to virtually nothing...

While it’s technically a two-year extension tying Thomas to the Saints for 2023 and 2024, the deal is structured so that both sides will return to the negotiating table this time next year.

Per ESPN’s Katherine Terrell, Thomas will trigger future roster bonuses of $31.7 million, $28.7 million, and $58.6 million if he’s on the roster by a certain date next offseason — NewOrleans.Football’s Mike Triplett clarifies this as the third day of the 2024 league year, which would have been March 18 this year. That means the Saints have a deadline to circle back and either renegotiate this contract again or let Thomas go.

For 3-6 games. He doesn’t have the same skill set as before, but he could be a nice redzone addition for someone
