I am old school. I like the idea of two helmets but, I hope they do not do away with the Gold helmets. Just feel like it’s traditional.

Btw I am with you but, why do you not like the idea?

The execution isn't all that great...the stripe w/ the tiny gold FDLs looks bad and the main FDL doesn't look all that great against a black background on the helmet. Someone mentioned matte black...I can get on board w/ a Matte Black, maybe even a matte black w/ a gold tint over the matte black, but one things for certain...the tiny FDLs don't look good. All of course, my opinion.

I'm a huge fan of this gold carbon fiber concept:

The black is fine, I like the idea, I don't know about combining the black with the white alt uniform which is already hands down the best uniform in the league as is - BAR NONE.
I really don't like the stripe which looks a little like a bald guy who said "hey give me hair plugs down the middle kinda like a mohawk". An actual stripe would have been better. Maybe they had the designer in there and he said, "what about we put 100 mini Ditkas disguised as fleur de lis' in the center of the head ready to attack!"

Having joked on that, I am excited to see the helmet in action. Our uniforms are always the best in the NFL

Thing with the all black, I remember Brees Saying he liked the white jerseys because it was easier to identify his guys. All black gives the qb nothing to grab eyesight.

This helmet appears to be a man without a home.

I hope they wear them with the all black unis. It's a giving they'll wear them with the color rush as cam did a photo shoot with that.

Black is my favorite color but the helmet is alright. I prefer the traditional gold helmet.
