His name is Greg Fassitt (5'11, Grambling State). He was on the Bears PS, and was signed a couple of days ago.

Here's his profile from a draft site, bears site and a Youtube vid, in which he looks impressive.

Buast.

That means that if he pans out well, I can say I was the first to call him a beast. If he flunks, then I was the first to call him a bust.

I win already - get outta my space, dude. :mwink:

:hihi:

 FineI will say it and stand behind it BEAST. No doubt that not making the Bears at CB is better then not making the Saints at CB like Anwar Phillips.

BEAST!!!!

BTW he can eat soup off of Davids head and he is only 5'11:smilielol:

He is from New Orleans. He ran a 4.36 and on the draft profile it says he had to run on a surface he wasn't used to due to weather and slipped twice on his first attempt.
That suggests he's normally faster. Could be a good return man.

On that draft site, it said that he runs a sub 4.4 and his lowest was 4.34 ....BEAST. :ezbill:

Well, Craft easily runs a sub 4.4 forty and we know how great he is. Lets hold back the beast talk until he at least gets into one game and makes one tackle (upon which the entire board will annoint him as our best CB, who the coach is holding down unfairly).

I guess we have our starter and can focus on DT or MLB in the first round, then...

</sarcasm>

Seriously, though, he might have some potential...

The Saints need miracles like that on defense.

<font color=olive face="courier new">Now we can look for offensive help in the draft.</font>

The one thing I can honestly say about this dude after watching that youtube vid is that he was ALWAYS running step for step with receivers... rarely did anybody get behind him... and when they did he closed on them REAL quickly.

He also has great ball skills... you can't coach instincts... I hope he can at least have a good offseason... always good to see a home-grown guy play for his hometown team.

Some good talent in the SWAC... that's all they do is pass, so this guy has experience against the pass...
