Saints sign a CB (street guy)... (2 Viewers)

I agree SaintDroopy... he also NEVER missed a tackle either. I wouldn't go as far a saying don't draft a CB but i wouldn't in the first 2 rounds.
my options
1. LB-K. Rivers
2. CB Reggie Smith or DT-K. Balmer "if we dont get a DT out of free agents"
Or if K.Rivers is gone then
1. LB D.Connor or K.Phillips
2. best LB or Reggie smith

>>>That means that if he pans out well, I can say I was the first to call him a beast. If he flunks, then I was the first to call him a bust.

I win already - get outta my space, dude.>>

It's not about you, it's about the Saints winning. Then we are all winners!

Joke much?

Well, Craft easily runs a sub 4.4 forty and we know how great he is. Lets hold back the beast talk until he at least gets into one game and makes one tackle (upon which the entire board will annoint him as our best CB, who the coach is holding down unfairly).

If/when he does make a tackle wouldn't that make him one of our best CB's statistically? :mwink:

Hopefully this staff of ours has gotten the busts out of their system from last year, and will resume making good pickups. The 06 season was awesome. We got Fujita, who is very sound at his position. If I remember right, we traded someone to Philly for Hollis and a 4th round pick, which we used to select Jahri Evans. We also drafted Bush, and one could say he's not performed up to par overall. We drafted Colston, which could possibly have been our best draft pick. And last, but certainly not least, we picked up Drew Brees. 08 Saints all the way!!!!!!

Jerry Rice... Walter Payton... Mel Blount... Doug Williams... SWAC has a history...

So does every other conference in America. Theres no denying the talent level in the SWAC is greatly reduced compared to the larger conferences.

As far as I'm concerned, he at least looks better than Jason David.

He doesn't look bad at all. He looks like he is quick on his feet and is able to actually make a tackle. Pretty impressive to me.
