I am surprised we waived Malik Flowers. I thought for sure he would stick, being he can play as a RS & WR. Hopefully the Saints can get him on the PS later if he's still around.

If you get cut before training camp even starts, you're not making it to the practice squad.

There's no proof of that. The Saints have waived players before training camp and have signed them to the PS after training camp. Some players that are waived were because of signing players with more experience or needing other players for a different position. They would sign the player to PS for further development or in case of injury. The only reason I could not see him making it to the PS is if another team picked him up.

Coutee is an interesting signing. He has produced in the league in the past, and if he's anywhere close to that form, he'll contribute nicely here.

Olave’s was inflammation and not anything serious. I think we would’ve targeted starting caliber WRs if he and Shaheed had to recover beyond the start of TC in a month. Bowden and Coutee just swaps out with Flowers and Thompson. They’re extra depth competition.

I think he is guard depth. I remember reading he was awful at center but serviceable at guard.

Guy was a first round pick in 2018 and is now on his fifth team.

Hope he can find the right team/system fit, but things aren’t looking too good for him.
