Great, just like Ruiz!I think he is guard depth. I remember reading he was awful at center but serviceable at guard.

I don’t know man.I am surprised we waived Malik Flowers. I thought for sure he would stick, being he can play as a RS & WR. Hopefully the Saints can get him on the PS later if he's still around.
Completely agree.Guy was a first round pick in 2018 and is now on his fifth team.
Hope he can find the right team/system fit, but things aren’t looking too good for him.
Colston is much diff then any of those other guys you just named. I love them but Colston was in a diff league and prob our best wr in our history. Johnson was drafted so he doesn’t count and I like shaheed but let’s wait and seeWhy not? Pierre Thomas, Colston, Ivory, Harris, Gardener Johnson, Shaheed, etc. Late round and undrafted free agents are pivotal to any team. But as late picks, You have to give these guys a chance. They're late picks for a reason. Saints have cut bait on more UDFAs earlier this year than I remember in year's past. Colston is an extreme example but totally fits. He actually felt like he may get cut after minicamp. A lesser coach may have cut him and brought in a guy whose already been on 5 teams in 4 years. I have NO FAITH that thats going to work out. None. I'd put more faith in a guy your scouting team pulled in during year 1 than some guy who's been a healthy release from an 8th of the teams in the league. Smh, you get cut from the Bengals Offensive Line, that's not a good sign. Their line was downright awful and he couldn't make that? Yeah I'd rather have any of our UDFAs back over that guy.
Why would the Saints put him on the PS if they don’t even want him in camp?I am surprised we waived Malik Flowers. I thought for sure he would stick, being he can play as a RS & WR. Hopefully the Saints can get him on the PS later if he's still around.
Oh, I was thinking maybe to develop his skills as a WR and RS. The 3 players they signed yesterday are probably just camp bodies that will get released anyway with the exception of maybe Koutee the WR. Why not keep your young talent and develop them. There's no evidence that the Saints didn't want him in camp just because they released him now and it doesn't mean that they will not sign him to the PS later. Sometimes another need pops up and they have to release a young player with potential to make room for a player of need. But to say the Saints didn't even want him in camp is silly, we have no actual evidence of that. Why would the Saints put him on the PS if they don’t even want him in camp?
Who? Because I can't remember one that ever happened with. There's no proof of that. The Saints have waived players before training camp and have signed them to the PS after training camp. Some players that are waived were because of signing players with more experience or needing other players for a different position. They would sign the player to PS for further development or in case of injury. The only reason I could not see him making it to the PS is if another team picked him up.
If you can't make it to camp, your probably not worth "developing"Oh, I was thinking maybe to develop his skills as a WR and RS. I remember Colston turning heads from the first, but not sure he jumped up into the #1 WR after game 1. By season's end he was the top receiver, but he gradually overtook Joe Horn who had about 700 yards in 10 games. And sorry, but I was not trying to nitpick your comment. What a difference Brees and Payton made. That year Colston was 1000+, Bush and Henderson 700+ and Horn just under 700.I don't. I wish they would have given the first year guys they brought in a chance to make it to training camp. Remember, Marques Colston looked like he would be an early cut after mini camp. Then he came back for training camp and slaughtered the depth chart on the way to becoming the #1 WR in the first game and making Stallworth trade bait. Some guys may need a couple weeks to process the pro game and let it slow down on the field. To me, we let go of some good potential in favor of guys that are known commodities. Not even good known commodities, we're talking dented cans that have rolled around the bottom shelf a few years.

None of the guys will make the roster. They have all bounced around the league with very little success.
And Billy Price was one of those awful OL at Cincy that got Burrow killed his rookie year.
These guys are likely better than the scrubs we waived to make room, but none of them are anything to write home about.

Andy Tanner was an undrafted free agent that was released after OTA"s and mini-camp and then resigned during training camp and then waived after and then was signed to the PS and released and resigned numerous times. I'm going through my notebooks where I keep track of all the transactions over the years and his was the first one I found.Who? Because I can't remember one that ever happened with.
For UDFAs their skill get developed in training camp where they are further evaluated to see if they make the roster or PS.Oh, I was thinking maybe to develop his skills as a WR and RS. He attended TC and I still think he had photos of SP or someone important.Andy Tanner was an undrafted free agent that was released after OTA"s and mini-camp and then resigned during training camp and then waived after and then was signed to the PS and released and resigned numerous times.
