The Saints completely rebuilt the coaching staff, which in combination with ownership and management are the foundation of every team.

The coaching staff is one of the most significant rebuilds a team can make. Since there's no salary cap issues or roster limitations on the coaching staff, they can spend as much as they want and ad as many coaches as they want. For now, it looks like they've done a great job of rebuilding the coaching staff. Only time will tell if they did or didn't.

Regarding the roster, I don't think a demo and rebuild was necessary, wise or practical. I think the roster needed a remodel more than a rebuild. The Saints are remodeling the roster. Sure a lot of it looks the same, but they have already made some key changes and they still have the rest of free agency and the up coming draft to make even more changes.

Every public indication is that Moore is excited about Carr as his QB. You and others may not be, but Moore seems to be. Who do you think has a more informed and more complete evaluation of Carr, Moore or a fan posting on this site?

There's this weird thing that happens when I watch the Saints where our defense looks slow. Hard to articulate. It's not just over the past few years. I'd have to refer to the Madden ratings but the eye test indicates slowness. Maybe it's the uniforms that make them look slow. I watch other teams and they have fast dudes running around ripped up like Rambo.

The Saints also had a debilitating lack of swag before DD arrived. He has helped out with that big time. Still struggling in some areas though. We have a white LBer playing without shoulder pads and wearing #20. There is still work to do but we've come a long way. If we can add more speed and keep improving overall swag, we could do some things.

Same! Offense and defense.

I watch some other teams like the 49ers, Eagles, Rams, and Baltimore to name a few...and they all just look like their guys are all on roids, hyped up on caffeine and Adderall at all times.

Our guys just never look like that.

It could be a simple run play up the middle, and their guys are flying to their spots, including the OL.

Maybe that's what Moore is referring to when he says we are going to play faster. lol
