Saints sign TE Foster Moreau to 3 year deal (4 Viewers)

He looked average with V. Young, Collins and Bradford. 2018-2019 were the only seasons where he looked like a top TE later in his career with good QBs.

He might’ve been still grasping our offense in the 1st half of ’19, but he would’ve had a monster year if those 2nd half targets happened from week 1. He had a Pro Bowl selection in ‘19 mainly off of the 500+ yards and 7 TDs he had in the last 8 games of that season.
You can keep pounding the drum for Cook all you want. I didn't like him before, and I don't like him now.

No drum pounding. I must’ve missed the hype that people was caught up in. I know he had some costly fumbles. But I recognize Cook was an overall good player while he was here. He was statistically decent for what he was as a second receiving option at 32 years old. Nothing more, nothing less

I remember it because I was practically the only one that was against signing him. Everyone got caught up in literally 1 good year and thought that's what we were getting. His first year with us was pretty good to the point where I almost changed my mind about him. That didn't last long.

I know highlight reels always make a player look great. But, this long compilation really shows just how good Foster is.

Great hands. He's on the same page with Carr knowing when to settle into open areas in zone coverage. Wins a lot of tightly contested balls.

That was a very thorough video. It’s like a two-for-one as you get Carr and Moreau highlights. Moreau is better than I realized.

It’ll be fun this year as my neighbor to my right in the Dome is from Jesuit and LSU. He often brings high school friends of his to the games.

And I don’t know if I’m imagining this, but do Carr and Haener have a similar release when passing?

I haven't watched enough videos on Haener to say, but I'll be looking for similarities going forward.

And yes, this video gives a good look at Carr. Two things stood out to me. One is Carr isn't afraid to throw into tight coverage to Foster, and I'm sure that will follow to Thomas too. Secondly, Carr is really good at putting touch on the ball and just looks different standing in the pocket being able to see and throw over the D-line with his height after watching Drew have to tip-toe and peek downfield so often.
