Of all the Trades I like this one. You gotta give Payton credit. He is obviously rebuilding in denver and he is doing it with Previous known Saints Players. Almost like two birds in one hand. Pull from players your familiar with and Bring the Winning Attitude from a Locker Room Perspective. I understand Loomis was trying to appease Payton and take whatever capitol he could receive from his former asset {SP} however, I wish they had a clause that the coaches and certain players were off limits. I think in the near future we are gonna see action take place between the broncos and saints due to the connections. For my FA Wish list> I want Ali Gaye. With the right coaching, Ali could turn out to be a steal for the Saints.

Trautman was not good, Just Another Guy at best and surprised he was worth anything but glad Payton thought he was and wanted him.

He came and finished his physical. He said it was stage II but they felt really good about it. It may be something that keeps him out of some offseason but chances are strong that he’ll play and not miss the regular season.

I think the way to use Hill that would put the most stress on a defense is to have him and Carr on the field at the same time. Carmichael can send play options to Carr that take uses Hill in different ways to take advantage of different defensive packages and Carr can choose the best play after he sees the defenses substitutions.
So, yes, I'd like to see Hill moved around across all of the TE, WR and RB alignments. I'd also like to see him isolated outside were he could catch lateral passes from Carr. How do you defend that with just one person. Hill can run through most DB's on a quick pass and run past most LB's on an up-field pass.

I think him being best against zone makes him a good compliment to the current RB's and WR's. Olave, Thomas, Johnson, Kamara and Hill are all hard to cover with man coverage, so it's good to have receivers who are hard to cover with zone coverage.
