I concentrate on lowering my heart rate when I get in bed at 7 p.m.
I slow my breathing down and relax, getting it around 42 beats per minute.
I also do breathing exercises and get to where I can restfully hold my breath for about 3.5 minutes, with no problem.
I can tell it has made a difference in the way I feel.

42 bpm is very impressive. You should be blessed to see many more days.
 
Ha ! I get up at 4, plus I treasure good sleep.

I get up at 4am because the cat likes to rub its butt in my face to feed her. But after that I contribute to the city wastewater system, check twitter, and then I pop a valerian root supplement and go back to bed.
