Is there even 5 million tons of diamonds on Earth?

Yeah they said $175 trillion or about $22k for every human on earth. We could all go in on a payday loan maybe?

So cost is a bit of an issue.

I do like the idea of breathing in tiny diamonds as they fall back to earth though.

But I would like to hear more about @Eeyore 's asbestos idea.

Asbestos is nasty. I lost my father in law to asbestosis. Not a nice way to die

IDK, they are finding the silica dust from coal mining much worse than coal and volcanic ash basically turns into cement inside u.

I'd imagine tiny shards of jagged angular hard as diamond bits slicing air sacs could be quite devastating in a very short time if the count was sufficient enough.
