Sean Salisbury in love with Panthers (1 Viewer)

Absolutely!

I've said it before and I will say it again. Sean Salisbury is the biggest idiot blowhard, spare former NFL QB who never was, and now thinks he is god's gift to sport analysis, that has ever lived. The guy is wrong all the time. I don't have one iota of concern over what he says.

There is no way this statement can be improved!:worthy:

I think the Panthers are definetly coming along. I've heard people say, "they beat the struggling Bucs, so what?" However, we lost to a 2-6 team. Granted the Steelers are a much better team than their record represents, but they were a struggling team no doubt. Our defense was exposed in a terrible way. The loss of Roman Harper showed that day more than ever. I think our DL and LBs have played well. We just got beat on some plays that turned out to be BIG plays. Still, I feel like we are a good team. You take away the turnovers, we win that game. Even with the big runs by Parker.
I still feel like we will be the team to beat in the NFC South. Brees should be getting MVP consideration and Colston is the best rookie in the league. With all this said, we have to win games, especially the ones we should be winning. Our next meeting with Carolina will be big, very big!

With the way we're playing right now, you can't rule out the Panthers to take the division.

They are probably not going to beat the Rams this week. The Rams are comming off a tough loss to the Seahawks and will be looking to get back on track. I guarantee they lose if they play the way they played last night. This will put them back to 2 games behind us if we take care of our own buisness.

Thats what I am hoping for

I respect Sean Salisbury more for sticking to his pick and with all of the complaints about flip-flopping experts I am surprised more people do not praise him for it. Alright maybe not surprised because by saying the panthers will win it is also saying the Saints won't, but I think it is not far fetched and we are looking at a fog fight for the division.

Can anyone really disagree that the panthers1) Play us tough every game 2) Are a very talented team 3) Have had a better history of making it deep into the playoffs?

I like our chances. I think we have a good shot to pull out the division, but I do not think it is an insult to see how the panthers are going to be a tough team to beat in games and for the division.

Exaclty!!!

I'm not crowning the Panthers either, I just don't think Salisbury is an idiot for sticking with them.

I hope he's wrong, but I'm not going to hate him and boycott him because he didn't pick us to go to the Superbowl.

all we can do is win as many as we possibly can...and then worry about the panthers...if we do that...then and only then will we shut people up...as far as salisbury goes...well he's been pretty good to the saints since he started, but he just made the wrong pick this year =) lol.

Just FYI...

All the ESPN "experts" have picked the Saints over the Bengals this Sunday except for two...
(drum roll, please):drummer:

Merrill Hoge and Sean Salisbury.

Who 'da thunk it?

st. dave

what suprises await us next? That Sean Salisbury. What a tool.
Nothing any of them says matters--- even if they say we should be a shoe in to the Supebowl. I prefer it when they pick against us. A team with someone to prove wrong is better than one trying to live up to expectations. Embrace it.

Everybody here still think Salisbury is an idiot?

Good.

Just checking.

sean salisbury has every right to belive the panthers are going to win the NFC SOUTH FROM WHAT I SEEN TODAY FROM THE SAINTS IF THE SAINTS PLAY EVERY GAME THE WAY THEY PLAYED TODAY THEY WILL NOT BE SEEING ANY PLAYOFFS ME PERSONALLY I HATE TO SEE THE SAINTS LOOSE BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY ARE NOT A PLAYOFF TEAM AT ALL AND IF YOU THINK THEY ARE YOU OR ONLY FOOLING YOUR SELF AND THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE
