Semper's Stupendous to Infinity and Beyond Everything Marvel Movie/TV Thread (3 Viewers)

I think both he and Thor in that scene knew he could have moved it more than he did. As soon as it budged, he let up and Thor got really worried. They both play it off real quick, one out of pride the other out of honor.
Which is why in Endgame, he had no trouble quickly calling it to him, by which Thor responded "I knew it..."

Much like film audiences, citizens of the MCU have elected to largely ignore that Eternals happened.
I'm kind of hoping that's how it goes. The only useful thing from that film was the end credit scene between the Black Knight and the voice of Blade.

I note that in the MCU announcements of upcoming films/series, the Blade film is there, but there isn't anything else that has reference to The Eternals. Hopefully, they're just pushing the delete button on the whole story arc, but moving forward with Blade and the Black Knight.
There was one mention of Kumail Nanjiani's character in Ms. Marvel, but it was for all of five seconds, and probably filmed before Eternals was even released.

I think the primary value of the film really was introducing the Celestials, who I do think will play a big role in the cosmic MCU moving forward. They even had a quick cameo in Love and Thunder.

Other than that I think we can forget about it.

Great... Now I'm going to have to find something else to watch on Disney+ this weekend... :hihi:

I liked it. I think a sequel could be really good since it hopefully wouldn't have to focus on as many people and that's the problem with the 1st one IMO. I mean the child character was unnecessary, they could've removed her 100 percent and focused on others and the movie would've been better off for it.

I know some did enjoy it, but it seems as if it wasn't the best received movie, so I figured that they might just kind of leave it alone. Perhaps they can turn it around and salvage things. I guess they can't all be Infinity War / Endgame level stuff, though.
