Regardless if he comes back or not, isn't Jenkins the future at that position? If so he is getting valuable experience cutting his teeth out there.....hopefully some INT;s start going his way.....

If Sharper isn't going to contribute by playing, then why not cut him loose??? Even being on the PUP list I would think they could have cut him if they thought he couldn't contribute. They haven't cut him so that should show that there are some plans for putting him back on the field.

Yeah i dont think we would have a problem cuttin that safety we just signed for sharper next week. Joke.

I'll just throw this out there. There's a man I see every Wednesday on my job and we usually end up talking a little football, and he's been saying since the offseason that Sharper will never play football again.

I didn't believe him at the time but, he did say that he knows someone that has something to do with Sharper's medical situation, I didn't take note of exactly who he was talking about since I didn't believe him but, maybe someone who has something to do with the MRI's or something? not sure, but anyway, he swears that this guy told him that he didn't see how Sharper would ever play football again, and he was talking about from a medical standpoint.

I wouldn't have brought this up otherwise but since it's a topic, I just thought I would share this. I have my doubts about the guy who told me this because he's the type of guy who embellishes in knowing something no one else does, and since he's told me some off the wall stuff before that wasn't accurate, I assumed he was lying or at the very least, exaggerating about this for affect, but I'm getting curious now because if Sharper doesn't come back, it's gonna make me wonder if he was telling the truth all along.

Any medical staff who shares facts or opinions on the private and legally privileged info they get about a person's health care is breaking a trust. From what you say, I'm assuming this isn't a doc. Someone who works with MRI's--a tech who works the machine and sees the result and then gives his personal and nonprofessional opinion maybe? Or someone who just files the MRI's? In either case, his opinion means nothing, but the fact that he's willing to share it with this guy you talk to means that he's not to be trusted.

Not dissing you for posting, just dissing the guy for talking about stuff that is highly confidential.

What about LB is he out out also!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking to see what we do next week with the two

Dukes is a clown. On NFLN this morning, Dukes was going on and on about how the Saints will be better when Sharper returns in game 7 of this year...

I believe Dukes was just talking out his arse. Sharper will be back for the Cleveland game. He will give our defense a boost for sure. Maybe we wills start seeing those turn overs we've been lacking.

Jamie Dukes do not have a clue whats going on down here. Sharp should be back for the Browns game or Pitt game.

Where Dukes get his info from...:idunno:

It'll be interesting to see what he does next week, if he's full it's looking good, if he's limited even after the long wait, it will be worrisome...

It's simple, if DS wasn't going to be able to contribute he'd already be gone or offered a staff position to help MJ along. Fujita is probably already working with Delhombre or whoever thier QB will be to get ready for Sharp.
