Yeah, Lebanon is borderline close to being a failed state and Somalia is a lawless, ungovernable state where Islamic jihadist terrorists control or are warring over different regions of the state and the violence in Mexico, while troubling, extremely problematic and dangerous with semi-narco states is mostly a big issue in upper northern areas of the country, like Juarez. The rest of Mexico doesn't have the same systemic, institutionalized problems Northern regions of Mexico near the border have had. In fact, one of the major reasons for the porous Southern border issues is because of the control, power and violence the Mexican drug cartels have with psychopathic gunmen, called coyotes, engage in human/sex trafficking, drug smuggling use violence, intimidation, coercion, threats of violence against family or friends and in some cases, even torture local Mexican villagers, farmers, residents, men, women and children are targeted. "Coyotes" are ruthless, vile maternal fornicators no rational human being should ever be so unfortunate to come across.Way overstated. Have you ever been to any of the places you mentioned?
Do we have trouble with violence? Yes. As bad as many other places in the world? Not even close, actually. And before you start posting general, stilted statistics, better consider population density and all manner of violence rather than just gun violence.
Back to the incident at hand, terrible and mind-boggling. I can't agree enough with the poster who, "Why?" That is the big question: how does anyone find shooting people randomly to be an answer for their life?
Lol. True, but same could be said for those that say it’s a terrible country. Man if i had a dollar for people on both sides of that coin i’d be a millionaire. In my experience most people who have extensively traveled, kiss the ground when they get back here to the USA. Maybe because it’s “home” but really nobody is stopping you. Look at how many are coming in.There are so many people who contend that 'murica is the "greatest country in the world". Most of those people have never left the city they were born in.
At the Saints Super Bowl parade the only crime I saw were two drunk guys in front of us tickling their friend, and when the friend had enough of it he turned around, pulled it out, and started peeing on his friends’ feet.NOLA is known as a top 5 city for crimes. After our SB and the parade there was no homicides and very little violence. Just sayin
Can you explain why He's ignored all of the prayers offered since, say, Columbine? Does He need to be the official state religion first before He decides to intervene? Are people not praying hard enough? What level of fervor is He looking for?World is broken and only Jesus can fix it.
What's taking him this long?World is broken and only Jesus can fix it.
So, in the meantime, we should...?Not intending to get into a discussion, but the point is being missed. We reap what we sow. We have free will. The problem is the self will that leads to all the dysfunction. He will intervene at some point though, i.e. the book of Revelation.
Seek a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. It sure would be nice if people would learn to love each other. Love is the fulfillment of the law.So, in the meantime, we should...?
What’s long to you and I is mere seconds for him. I can tell you with honesty we’re closer to the end than to the beginning. What's taking him this long?
