It's not about his ability; Carr is a good QB; it's about the team taking a different direction and Carr and the Saints partying way so he can go to a team ready to win, and we can start building a winner and reshaping our Cap.In 2023, Carr had 9 wins and 3800 yards with terrible scheme and coaching. Last year, we were a couple of plays away from being 4-0, and injuries/coaching killed our season. He's obviously not the long-term option, but I don't see why so many are in favor of tanking or taking the huge financial hit of cutting him. I say roll with Carr and, over the next year or 2, decide if Spwncer is ready or if we need another option.
If Moore and the Saints keep Carr, then so be it, but moving away from him has less to do with ability and more to do with him being brought in as DA's guy and the team just simply going in a different direction with the New Coach.
