He was overshadowed by Taysom today…. But he played very well. I like the fact that he didn’t force anything and was very efficient. Hope he can build on that. Wish he had more weapons outside…. But it is what it is.

Yeah, all of that today and only 4 passes to WRs.

Of course part of that is Cleveland's secondary is actually elite, so you gotta take what you can elsewhere.

He is growing on me, I must admit. To the point where I don’t think we need to be talking about drafting a QB next year. We need to draft some weapons for our QB.

THIS is what I thought we would get from Carr. Made most of the routine throws. Hit some nice darts down the middle. Over threw people a couple of times. What you'd expect from a QB outside of the top 10. An all round good outing, not perfect but good.

What is frustrating is when he has an off game and misses the routine throws. Last year it happened a lot and soured people on him.

Dude, he was 21/27 for nearly a 78% completion rate with a teams 4th, 5th and 6th WR's. Derek has played with more mediocre WR's than most QB's during his career. All the WR's not named MT have actually enjoyed playing with him.
